Find Your Beach

Find Your Beach

The days of relaxing in a cabana or getting cozy in a hammock while taking sun-kissed selfies with my besties seems so far away. Mainly because I am not in my early twenties anymore, but also… ya know, COVID. But that doesn’t mean we can’t find our own beach! So let’s sip on a homemade piña colada and get into the beach vibe with this cabana-inspired decor:

Still want to ride the wave of creating an outdoor oasis? More below!

Stay Beachy!

Super Bowl

Super Bowl

Last night’s Super Bowl has me inspired to create a “manly” tablescape. I love the masculine energy these marble pieces bring, while still being beautiful and chic. Also, popcorn will never look better than when served in this beautiful brown glass bowl

Let’s get wild with these serving platters and accessories:

Losing my marbles over all this marble:

Here are some other goodies I have my eye on to complete the “manly” vibe:

What’s your favorite?

Polish Your Bar Cart Style

Polish Your Bar Cart Style

It’s 5 O’clock somewhere! When hosting, it’s always important to keep your bar cart stocked and fresh. Here are some of my favorite accessories to make your bar cart look polished and inviting.

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner…

{ Gradient Glasses // Green Stripe Carafe }

The colors of these glasses are gorgeous, and would make any bar pop. I guarantee your bar cart won’t be a ‘Baby in the corner’ if these glasses/carafe are on it, instead yours would be dirty dancing front and center stage making sure you’re having the time of your life! (Random/terrible analogy, I know.) Anyways 🙂 They are both super unique and using the carafe to serve wine would definitely bring a certain cool factor to the party.

Shaken, Not Stirred…

{ Gem Cocktail Stirrers // Evil Eye Cocktail Stirrers }

No need to follow in James Bond’s footsteps. You can have your martinis shaken and stirred by using these fabulous cocktail stirrers. I love putting cocktail stirrers in a cup on my bar cart as another way to decorate it, along with it being practical.

Ice, Ice Baby…

{ Acrylic Ice Bucket // Antique Butterfly Ice Bucket – similar }

All right stop. Let’s collaborate and listen… cause this quirky-cute acrylic ice bucket is only $20!!!

White Claw SZN…

{ Cactus // Cheers // White Claw Tea Towel }

White Claw SZN will be here before you know it. Although, for some (me!), it’s White Claw season year-round… so this tea towel is already in my shopping cart.  A bar cart *absolute must* is a stack of adorable cocktail napkins for people to grab… these two would add instant cheeriness to your bar.

Don Draper Inspo…

{ Penguin Cocktail Shaker // Coasters }

A martini shaker is always a fun accessory to help fill out your bar cart and make it look legit. I own this penguin cocktail shaker, and although I’ve only used it a handful of times, I always leave it on display because it tends to get a lot of compliments. I LOVE these coasters. They have a sophisticated look without being boring. I imagine that these would be on Don Draper’s office, just waiting for a martini. If you are looking for something more fun, these pink coasters are perfect:

Sip Sip… Hooray!

{ Neon Tumblers // Clink Champagne Glass – similar }

Having a few glasses readily available on your bar cart makes it easy on your guests to help themselves (which also makes it easier on you as a hostess). I like to have a mix of nice glasses and some fun plastic/paper ones for guests to choose from.

The Belle of the Ball…

{ Gold Round Bamboo Cart // Acrylic and Bronze Cart }

Last, but not least… the cart! Whether you want to put Baby in the corner (aka the round cart) or front and center stage (the rectangle cart) of the room, you can’t go wrong with either of these beauties. (I really don’t know why this weird analogy is sticking with me…  😛)
