These items have inspired me to go buy a caftan and throw a brunch in my own honor. These entertaining goodies would also be ideal for a bridal brunch, baby shower or an old fashioned tea party with your gal pals!
How amazing is the blue acrylic salad bowl?! That is a must-have item, and it comes in a bunch of other colors too!
The beautiful feminine details of these other finds are also very pinky up worthy:

Happy Valentines Day! On the day of love, I thought it would be fitting to talk about the two true loves of my life. Nope, not my son and husband… CHEESE & WINE! The absolute perfect pair. Each delicious on their own, but when consumed together… *magic*
Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese, Who Am I to Dis a Brie?
When hosting a party, putting out a cheeseboard is my go-to move. It’s easy to serve and easy for your guests to nibble on while mingling. My husband is a pro at the charcuterie display, and he loves having it be his special job when we have people over. But, even if arranging a cheeseboard is not your special talent — these cheeseboards are so pretty that it wouldn’t matter!
ALL my favorite cheeseboards at the moment:
Can’t forget the cheese knives:
When I sip, you sip, we sip!
A nice, clear wine glass is always a safe bet. But, it’s also fun to mix it up and have a little fun (…or A LOT of fun). Here are my favorite wine glasses right now:
I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebrating with your loved ones. And although you can’t buy happiness, you can buy cheese + wine… which is kind of the same thing. 🙂
Last night’s Super Bowl has me inspired to create a “manly” tablescape. I love the masculine energy these marble pieces bring, while still being beautiful and chic. Also, popcorn will never look better than when served in this beautiful brown glass bowl.
Let’s get wild with these serving platters and accessories:
Losing my marbles over all this marble:
Here are some other goodies I have my eye on to complete the “manly” vibe:
This dreary January weather has me dreaming of the warm, sunny days to come. I just moved into a new house and can’t wait to host parties in my backyard. These are some of my top picks right now for creating your own outdoor oasis:
I also have my eye on these goodies:
Now let’s just pray that the ground hog doesn’t see his shadow next week, because these items have me *READY* for Spring!!
The colors of these glasses are gorgeous, and would make any bar pop. I guarantee your bar cart won’t be a ‘Baby in the corner’ if these glasses/carafe are on it, instead yours would be dirty dancing front and center stage making sure you’re having the time of your life! (Random/terrible analogy, I know.) Anyways 🙂 They are both super unique and using the carafe to serve wine would definitely bring a certain cool factor to the party.
No need to follow in James Bond’s footsteps. You can have your martinis shaken and stirred by using these fabulous cocktail stirrers. I love putting cocktail stirrers in a cup on my bar cart as another way to decorate it, along with it being practical.
White Claw SZN will be here before you know it. Although, for some (me!), it’s White Claw season year-round… so this tea towel is already in my shopping cart. A bar cart *absolute must* is a stack of adorable cocktail napkins for people to grab… these two would add instant cheeriness to your bar.
A martini shaker is always a fun accessory to help fill out your bar cart and make it look legit. I own this penguin cocktail shaker, and although I’ve only used it a handful of times, I always leave it on display because it tends to get a lot of compliments. I LOVE these coasters. They have a sophisticated look without being boring. I imagine that these would be on Don Draper’s office, just waiting for a martini. If you are looking for something more fun, these pink coasters are perfect:
Having a few glasses readily available on your bar cart makes it easy on your guests to help themselves (which also makes it easier on you as a hostess). I like to have a mix of nice glasses and some fun plastic/paper ones for guests to choose from.
Last, but not least… the cart! Whether you want to put Baby in the corner (aka the round cart) or front and center stage (the rectangle cart) of the room, you can’t go wrong with either of these beauties. (I really don’t know why this weird analogy is sticking with me… 😛)
No matter your relationship status, there’s a Valentine’s Day celebration for you. Whether you’re hosting a Galentine’s get-together or an intimate dinner party, go ahead and embrace Valentine’s Day in all it’s pink-and-red glory with these entertaining essentials.
Love is in the air, party peeps! So start planning your romantic evening with just you and your honeybooboo. Or, if you think Cupid is stupid, invite your friends over for an Anti-Valentine’s Day Bash. Either way, these party items will deliver!
I’m making a list and checking it twice for all of these dreamy items. I’ve had my eye on some of these for years, but the price tag has held me back. They’re totally worth the investment though, as they’re all so beautiful and would bring me so much joy every year. So, if you are wondering if it’s time to pull the trigger… ArdyParty votes yes!
Last but not least! These salt & pepper shakers and chargers make my heart skip a beat every time I see them. They both are on the top of my wish list! Although pricey, they’d be a showstopper every.single.year… Making it worth every penny!
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year! (And that we all find some of these special items under our Christmas trees this year.)
Swoozies has the best party cups! (And napkins … and plates … and pretty much, everything!) All of their cups are so cute that I had such a hard time narrowing these down. My favorites are the ‘Rudolph is my Spirit Animal’ and ‘Way More Effective Than Mistletoe’!
These items would be fantastic gifts for a white elephant/gift exchange party. Not only are they cute, but they’re also entertaining – the person can use their gift right then and there. I have no doubt that if these peppermint shot glasses get broken out, the party will get taken up a jolly few notches!
It’s the most wine-derful time of the year! These reindeer holiday-sweater stemless wine glasses will give your guests a sense of warmth and coziness before they even get their ‘liquid jacket’ on. They come in a set of four and are made of glass, but are dishwasher safe (top rack!). On the other hand, this festive ‘Drink up Grinches’ stemless wine glass is made of plastic so you won’t have to worry about any party fails!
These wine glasses are a little classier than the vibe I was going for with this post, but they are too adorable not to include. They would be a great holiday party gift too, especially for a newlywed!
I have a thing for candy canes. Not only are they pretty, but they’re tasty too! All three of these napkins would make the perfect cocktail napkin to stock your bar cart with. Want even more options? Check out last year’s Christmas post!
The gold and green foil really make these plates pop! They are a great size for a food serving, and if you have kids/nieces/nephews, could also double for an arts & crafts project later. The Reindeer plate is also available in a delightful white and silver version.
You can’t have a (ardy) party without a cheeseboard! It’s my favorite appetizer to serve because it’s easy and always where people end up gathering around. (Or, at least that’s where you’ll always find me posted up!)
How fun is this serving set?! I love the simplicity of the design and its fresh take on classic holiday decor. I like the Fiesta Light serving platter in Lemongrass best, as it would be a fantastic pop of color for a table. But, it’s also available in classic holiday colors like red and green, in addition to blue, purple and turquoise. (Consider buying more than one color since it’s under $20!)
When I’m welcoming guests into my home, I love to have a candle burning to set the mood and ambiance. This crushed candy cane scent would be really refreshing, while my go-to candles are Nest’s Holiday and Nest’s Pinewood.
FRIENDSGIVING: (noun) 1. A Thanksgiving celebration of friends as family. 2. An excuse to drink without all the judgement.
The nice thing about Friendsgiving is that everyone brings a dish. So if you’re the host, simply set out your prettiest serveware and you’re set!! (Just don’t forget the booze and your fat pants, too!)
These pumpkin wine glasses are festive, but not over the top. With the delicate curves and gold rim, this glass doesn’t overly scream pumpkin. Their design also makes them cost-effective, as you can use them all year round– not just on Halloween or Thanksgiving. Plus, I love short wine glasses since long-stem glasses tend to break more easily in the dishwasher, as well as your friend’s hands if they’re wobblin and gobblin!
I am OBSESSED with these red and gold mosaic goblets. The shape is more universal, so you can use them for wine, water, tea, etc. The design is so intricate and beautiful. Although they’re from W&S, they look identical to some I bought in Marrakesh! Wish I bought these instead and saved on that shipping fee…
… Decor made EASY! Especially when it comes to holiday parties. Thanksgiving and Christmas are such crazy times of year, they always coming up so much faster than you think. This is why when it comes to Friendsgiving, I make it easy on myself. These boozehounds that I call friends can enjoy the plastic cups and the paper placemats … I’ll wait to break out the fine china for my in-laws, ok?!
If you aren’t planning on hosting your Friendsgiving and are just an attendee, it’s always nice to bring your dish already prepared on a nice serving platter (covered with saran wrap or tin foil for the ride over). Or, you can bring a serving platter and your dish in its plastic container, then transfer the food onto your nice serving platter once you arrive. (I promise, the host will greatly appreciate it.)
Speaking of keeping it easy, this pumpkin bowl is dishwasher, microwave, freezer AND oven safe!!! The perfect vessel for serving your Friendsgiving dish — whether you are hosting or attending, you can have your dish ready to serve at a moment’s notice in this bowl.
I love these plates that come in a set of four. Nothing screams fall like the changing color of leaves. I also love that you can use them all season long and are just a sweet touch to any table or cocktail bar.
You can’t go wrong with an assortment of spooktacular Halloween decor – as seen on my BOO Y’ALL roundup. But, if you are looking to be a bit more creative, you can throw a Dia De Los Muertos party. I love the idea of such a specific Halloween theme and, if you really want to take it up a notch, request that your guests come in themed attire with amazing face paint and florals to boot. (Also, skulls are cool – so you may be purchasing for Halloween, but a lot of these items will be chic year-round!)
There are tons of cute options this year for Day of the Dead plastic plates. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites below:
This black platter and matching salad plate set from Williams Sonoma are skele-fun! The quality is top-notch and I love the color scheme. These items are definitely ones you will want to pull out every year.
I actually own this novelty shape Sugar Skull platter – it’s 11 inches and perfect for serving cake, assorted desserts or as a charcuterie board.
This candy bowl and serving bowl might be my two favorite items on this entire list. And the decanter would look wicked on my bar cart.
For those dinner party-loving fools, this Day of the Dead set is faBOOlous! It’s clean and pretty, while managing not to be cheesy or cheap-looking. I could definitely see myself breaking out this set year-round.
My favorite centerpiece is this mariachi band – it’s spooky, but there’s also something endearing and comical about them. I also love that the animals are unique and allow for some variety in the decor.
If you feel like you are overloading your shopping cart with sugar skulls, a great way to diversify your decorations are these fiesta flower tissue pompoms. They would be great to scatter among your tables or tape on the wall. The nice thing about the Day of the Dead theme is that it invites color versus the typical black/white/orange Halloween color scheme.
I always like to offer some options for those who aren’t planning on hosting a party, but still enjoy getting into the holiday spirit. A tea towel is a great and easy way to add a touch of festive flair in your home. (Another fun touch are salt + pepper shakers or a spoon rest.)
Door Signs and Welcome Mats
As I mentioned in my BOO Y’ALL post, Halloween brings a lot of action to your front steps. So even if you aren’t throwing a big monster bash, a themed entry way can go a long way.
I am always on the hunt for a good welcome mat, and this Mr. & Mrs. Skeleton mat would be perfect for Halloween. Welcome mats are not only long lasting, but super easy to store and pull out the moment October hits. Plus, as mentioned above, it will get the most use!
